Abstract
This study was designed to compare between the usage of Venable, Sherman and Lane bone plates and screws for repairing tibial bone fractures after inducing transverse diaphyseal tibial fracture in adult dogs.Fiften adult local breed dogs were used, divided into three groups, fractures induced in all groups and fixed internally by bone plates and screws. The fractures in the first group were fixed by Venable bone plates and was called Venable group, the fractures in the second group were fixed by Sherman bone plate and was called Sherman group, while the fractures in the third group were fixed by Lane bone plate and was called Lane group. Cases were followed up radiographically till disappearance of fracture line. The callus was examined histologically. Results showed the failure of Lane bone plate for repairing diaphyseal tibial fracture in adult dogs, because they suffered from severe torsion leading to the formation of useless fibrocartilaginous callus. It is recommended to use the Venable or Sherman bone plate and screws for repairing transverse diaphyseal tibial fractures in adult dogs, because the usage of these plates led to formation of dense osseous callus which represent compact bone tissue.

Abstract
An experiment was conducted with 24 Arabi lambs to investigate the possibility to increase the utilization of wheat straw by ensiling with urea at rate of 1.5% as a nitrogen source and to get the advantage of the additional digestion caused by the released - ammonia , and molasses at rate of 10% to encourage the fermentation responsible for silage making. ensiled straw (ES) was compared with wheat Treated Straw (TS) containing both additives with the same rates, without ensiling , both ES and TS were fed with two levels of concentrates. The straw silage was of medium quality with accepted palatability by lambs. Results of the experiment showed that ensiling had no effect on the total dry matter intake (TDMI) and straw dry matter intake (SDMI), but the digestible dry matter intake (DDMI) was improved significantly(P<0.05). Doubling the concentrate level increased TDMI and DDMI significantly (P>0.01). Digestibility trial pointed out that the ensiling improved the dry matter digestibility (DMD) and its component significantly (P<0.01), except for the ether extract digestibility (EED) which was decreased significantly (P<0.01) as a result of doubling the concentrate level.PH of rumen fluid showed an expected values according to time of sampling and determinations. The results of this experiment also showed that ensiling wheat straw with urea and molasses could be beneficial procedure due to the improvement of both crude protein digestibility (CPD) and crude fibre digestibility (CFD) and that the ensiling enhanced the utilization of urea –N, the later needs more specific investigations

Abstract
Two hundreds eighty women who were suffering from urinary system problems subjected to hospitals , private clinics and analytical laboratories were investigated with general urine examination (G.U.E.).Most of those women revealed urinary tract infections, pus cells form the essential parameters for infection . Urine cultures were done to detect the cause of these infections . Cultures showed presence of different types of bacterial isolates . Escherichia coli accounted for the highest of these isolates 20 isolates (46.5%), while Staphylococcus aureus represented the lower frequency 3 isolates (6.9%). Other types of bacteria were found in urine cultures such as Proteus mirabilis 9 isolates (20.9%), Klebsiella pneumoniae 6 isolates (13.9%) and Pseudomonas aeroginosa 5 isolates (11.6%). Correspondingly , most of these isolates exhibited sensitivity to antibiotics . Norofloxacin , Cefotaxime and Ciprofloxacin were the more effective antibiotics on most of bacterial isolates , while Gentamicin , Streptomycin and Ultracloxam showed low effect. The highly sensitivity of all bacterial isolates to Norofloxacin leads to consider that this drug is the best for treatment of urinary tract infections .Klebsiella pneumonia revealed variation in it s appearance in different organs of white mice after injection with this bacteria .

Abstract
The methylol derivatives of 2,6-dimethylol-4-bromophenol was synthesized by the condensation of 4-bromophenol with formaldehyde in the presence of NaOH as a catalyst under very critical conditions. The derivative (1) was transferred to ether derivatives (2), (3) by its reaction with methanol and ethanol in presence of H2SO4 as a catalyst respectively under strict experimental condition. The ether derivatives were tested against Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus vulageras, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The structure of new synthesized compounds were confirmed by physical data and FT-IR, 1HNMR spectroscopy.
