Identification of Some Causative Agents of Diarrhea in Children and Lambs of Diwaniya

Abstract
SummaryThe Study was concentrated on diagnosis of the parasitic causes diarrhea, 87 fecal samples of sheep obtained from veterinary hospital, 1300 fecal samples of children obtained from Maternity and Pediatric Hospitals of the city and the range between one week to five years.
The result revealed that mortality in Cryptosporidiosis was about 27.5% and it's number of was 24 infected causes. While mortality was 6.6% in children and infected case number was 87.
Amoeba histolytica their mortality in children reach about 13.7% while in Giardia lamblia was 9%. The Study also include evaluation of effectivness of some factor on the morbidity of diarrhea in sheep and children as season and sex, that the study revealed a relation ship between them higher morbidity was in summer months (June, July, August) beside this Cryptosporidiosis morbidity higher in male than female in sheep and in children also morbidity in Giardia lamblia was higher in male children than in female.
